Taking it easy.

I made a directory of the patterns I use when creating abstract mess art. They aren’t nearly as impressive when you separate them out like this, but it helps me not put two similar-looking patterns right next to each other.

A second colored version. It’s not perfect, but I like it much better than my previous rainbowsplosion. Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback, it really helped me figure out what to do with this thing. The lines have been darkened to help the digital merge with the traditional, and how the colorsplosion has a unified color theme going for it. I am so ready to call this done.

Peacock. Indian ink on crappy sketching paper, then digitally colored. I’m not sure how I feel about the color, and the black-and-white one is still nice. What do you think, guys? Which one do you like better?

Inks done! I’m going to try and… apply color, probably in Photoshop because I’m bad with color and don’t want to risk ruining it forever. Thanks for all the love this has gotten so far, it’s really encouraging. C:

Success and progress. If I’d known this ten-minute doodle would become a two-day project, I would have used better paper. It does not take to ink very well. ):

Back to shapes again. I think this’ll turn into a thing this week.
