I’m trying to sketch up a design for a little project, and this was the state of my desk when I gave up for the day.
I got to doodle people around Seattle Center sometime last week. It’s fun, though a little stalkerish.
Today I made a finishing stamp, and you can too! What is a finishing stamp, you ask? Ze Frank will be happy to explain it to you.
More little doodles. I did figure drawing today too, but I am so out-of-practice that it’s not even funny.
Doodling a tiny Trostburg Castle instead of doing important things. On a side note, the “castle” tag is mostly filled with gifs from the show Castle, followed by pictures of Disney castle. Which says a lot about Tumblr.
I didn’t realize how creepy this was… until after I’d made it. I’m surprised more people don’t worry about me.
This was going great until I realized the eyes and forehead are too big. Curse you, anime proportions! Haunting me forever.
Anyway. Something to learn for next time. Human faces are ridiculously difficult.
Slowly getting closer to being done with my commissions. This one was a lesson in perspective (read: “don’t do it if you can avoid it”).
A video for this art group I’m a part of. Consider this a shameless plug.
This video is also secretly misleading, because I can’t even figure out what my process is for this drawing. Do I want lines? Do I not want lines? I guess I want lines!
I bribed a friend into getting stuff done by drawing her a little robot for every few tasks she accomplished. It worked miraculously well, and now I have little robots.
